Dear Wichita IMA Chapter Members,
I am honored to be addressing you for the first time as the Wichita Institute of Management Accountants Chapter President. Since joining the chapter after graduating from Washburn University I have been excited about the wonderful people I have met and worked with, the interesting events, and ample opportunities that this chapter has provided.
The boards initial thoughts and actions for this coming year are focused on increasing membership engagement at chapter events, providing more valuable content and events that are tailored to our member needs, and providing a strong networking and growth opportunities for our members and board. Please remember, we will only be able to progress these initiatives if you give us feedback so we can make more membership worth your time.
Our goal is to provide a schedule for the year ahead earlier in the hope that you can mark these events on your calendar. If you have a suggestion for a chapter event, please reach out to me or one of the other board members. The chapter and I would like to thank you for your membership, and your alliance with the IMA. We are excited to kick off our first event in October and hope to see all of you there!
